MOOSE HUNTING
WESTERN CANADIAN MOOSE HUNTING
The Western Canadian moose is a subspecies of moose that inhabits Boreal forests and mixed deciduous forests in western Canadian provinces. It is the second largest North American subspecies of moose, second to the Alaskan/Yukon moose. Our moose hunts start out at our lodge on Winefred Lake where you will leave each morning by boat, argo, or truck. This type of hunt is usually less physical. This is a rut hunt meaning it works well to call the moose out of the brush and close the distance especially down to the water's edge. Limited hunts in November are also available and can be combined with whitetail in the rut, please contact for specific dates and availability.
